| This is a used intermediate oboe. It's made of grenadilla wood, and I bought it personally for $2300 CAD, and it was already used when I purchased it. It has just been into the local music store and the technician says I should ask between $1000 and $1500 for it as is. It had been cracked and fixed while the previous owner had it. I played it for 3 years in high school, and have recently purchased a new pro model oboe and no longer need this one. I'm making a price sacrifice because I need to sell this fast...as I am in university and absolutely flat broke. I recommend that if you want to go on to post secondary with oboe and you are a high school student, do not buy this oboe as it does not have LH F. If you are a beginner, in middle school, just want a hobby, or are only doing oboe as a bit of fun in high school, this is a great oboe at a great price for your needs. It suited me very well and I hope it goes to a good home. |
