"The Tube Technology Fulcrum DAC sports a custom-built 24-bit converter using ""low bit pulse array modulation"", as opposed to typical bit stream or multi-bit technology. Essentially, this involves splitting the signal into a stream of pulses, each slightly different from the other. These contrasts contain subtle information that conventional DACs miss, or so the theory goes, and lower sensitivity to jitter is claimed too. This 2048x over sampled, 64 bit 192 kHz pulse array DAC Architecture has 4 X Digital Inputs, a RAM buffer for Zero jitter performance which accepts digital data from 32-192 kHz and DSD (SACD). Includes Class A Vacuum tube output stage and Soft-start and 'Ever-warm' standby for DAC and tube stage. It is cased in heavy gauge aluminum.
