| This upright spinning wheel is a beautiful piece of BC history. Crafted originally by a Russian immigrant to Nelson in early 1900s. Rebuilt by a fine craftsman from BC. It is lovely to look at and spins beautifully, as well. Made as an exact replica of the wheel the original woodworker's mother used in Russia, left behind when they moved to BC. Handed down in the family until a year ago when it came to me in several pieces. I had it rebuilt and refinished. Now it looks like the original and works like a dream! Will have shipping company package for shipment. Estimate? All depends on your location. This has to go by freight company. Might be $150 Cdn. for freight. |
